Makli is an independent website for dog owners who want clear, practical and trustworthy information about caring for their dogs. We cover dog health, nutrition, training and behavior, grooming, puppy care and planning for veterinary costs.
Why we started Makli
Anyone who has searched online for an answer about their dog knows how confusing it can be. Advice is often contradictory, outdated or written to sell a product. We wanted to create a place where dog owners can find straightforward guides written in plain language, without hype.
How we create our content
- We base our articles on information from recognized veterinary organizations, veterinary schools and peer-reviewed sources.
- We write for real-life situations, focusing on what owners can actually do at home and when it is time to call a professional.
- We review and update articles when guidance changes.
- We clearly separate general information from veterinary advice.
An important note
We are dog lovers and writers, not a veterinary clinic. Our articles are for general educational purposes and are not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed veterinarian who knows your dog. If your dog is sick or injured, please contact your vet or an emergency animal hospital. You can read more in our Disclaimer.
